"Update! My partner and I came here for three nights in a row and it was divine!! Night one - dine in via reservation Night two - takeaway Night three - dine in via reservation Service = impeccable Friendly and welcoming staff = impeccable Atmosphere = impeccable Food = impeccable, particularly the barbacca de cordero (my partner wanted to order as many more tacos he could to have eaten a whole lamb) and pastel de tres leches (without a doubt to die for, wedding cake worthy and we will be ordering more for dessert tonight)! Night one: For drinks, we ordered the Spangled Drongo Pale Ale (which saves 1sqm of rainforest to protect Australian Wildlife) and corncob lemonade. For food, we ordered antonitos - guacamole con totopos, vegetarian esquites, jalapeños rellenos (as mentioned it’s roulette as to whether you end up with a really hot jalapeño and we were pleasantly surprised with a very hot one), tacos - papas en recado, coliflor, taquitos de pollo, barbacca de cordero and dulce - pastel de tres leches. Night two: Takeaway - dulce - pastel de tres leches. Night three: Just as we had previously experienced, our experience was amazing!! For drinks, we ordered spangled drongo pale ale, tepache toreador and charred pineapple. For food, we ordered Antonio’s - guacamole con totopos, guarnicion - frijoles, tacos - papas en recado, barbacoa de cordero, taquitos de pollo, carnitas and dulce - pastel de tres leches!! All of which we were very happy with including the staff and atmosphere! We’d highly recommend coming here whether it’s to dine in or takeaway and we will be more than happy to keep coming back! There were some outstanding dishes but also just amazing food and service in general!"

"We got recommended this place and it did not disappoint! Our server, Nira?, was amazing, so knowledgeable of the food and so overly kind and personable. now the food. the food was just insane. The BEST mexican we have ever had! The Esquites was so flavourful with every good flavour you could imagine. The jalapeño rellenos was so surprisingly amazing and the pescado tacos were an absolute 11/10, the garlic salsa was impeccable! So grateful this amazing place exists will be returning time and time again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks at La Casita!! An authentic Mexican restaurant -different to anything we’d had before. The meals were light and tasty!! The staff were very friendly and super helpful in helping us to decide what to order. Casual and easy vibes! The cake and liqueur finished off the dinner perfectly. Highly recommended!! Loved my line and rockmelon margarita, too!!"

"We happened upon this restaurant while we were hunting glow worms near Tunnel Road. The lovely staff found a spot for us and were so hospitable. Tashka (sp?) our server was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, I would come back just to chat to her. The food was AMAZING. Fresh, delicious and the flavours were really well balanced. I will be thinking about the corn for years to come. The rice was sticky and seasoned perfectly. The chicken taquitos were top tier, abandon the cutlery and get in there with your hands. Also, if you think you dont have room for the churro with the orange glaze, ignore that and order it anyway. It was crispy in the right places, soft in the middle and the glaze was subtle but surprising. Props to the folks in the kitchen, you smashed it!"

"Top notch experiencefood was amazing, fresh and tasty…cocktails refreshing (Mezcal sunrise) service is on point, fast and with a smile! Small restaurant but well presented and great vibes with music and chatter! We actually sat in front of kitchen and bar and while many might not like that, I found it great to see the engine room at work! The boys behind what comes out are organized, passionate, clean…all that and teamwork produces the end result you want as a customer…happy and satisfied"

"We had a craving for Mexican and found this place online. The staff were fantastic on arrival providing great recommendations. All the food was so tasty and fresh. The corn and the tomato rice being great recommendations for share dishes. The cocktail list did not disappoint either. Everything came out nicely presented and service was top notch. I’d highly recommend checking this place out. I wish we had more time in Brunswick heads and more of an appetite to try it all."
